Maxine Nightingale was born on the 2nd of November, 1952. She is best known for being a Soul Singer. She collaborated with Temptations singer Jimmy Ruffin on the 1982 single “Turn to Me.”  Maxine Nightingale is a British R&B and soul music singer. She is best known for her hits in the 1970s, with the million seller "Right Back Where We Started From", "Love Hit Me", and "Lead Me On". She later became a jazz performer and appeared on PBS’ Superstars of Seventies Soul: Live.
